Simpson erupts for six more goals, Nash nets second hat trick of season

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – A hat trick from Cassie Nash as well as goals from Ally Hoffa, Maddie Hays and Layna Depping gave the Simpson College women's soccer team a 6-0 shutout over Coe in its regular season finale on Tuesday.

This the second straight game Simpson erupted for six goals against a conference opponent. The Storm will now head into the postseason with a 14-2-1 record, already the most wins since the 2004 season.

Simpson's first postseason action will be in the semifinal round of the American Rivers Conference Tournament next Wednesday, Nov. 1 at home. The Storm will either host No. 3-seed Luther or No. 6-seed Wartburg, depending on the result of Saturday's first round match between the teams.

GOAL SUMMARY
