Nash named A-R-C Offensive Player of the Week
INDIANOLA, Iowa – Responsible for all five goals scored by the Simpson College women's soccer team in its first week of action, Cassie Nash has been named the American Rivers Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
This is Nash's sixth time earning offensive player of the week honors for soccer.
Nash provided both assists in a 2-0 win at RV Illinois Wesleyan on Friday night before registering a hat trick on Sunday to lead Simpson past Gustavus Adolphus, 3-1. She took eight shots on the week, placing five on target.
The Storm will return to the pitch Wednesday night against Carleton. The 2022 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions were 13-2-3 a year ago and have started the 2023 season with two wins like the Storm.
