Women’s soccer dominates Wartburg 6-1 on Senior Day

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Ally Hoffa and Cassie Nash each scored twice, Alexis Ponce registered a goal and an assist, and the Simpson College women's soccer team dominated Wartburg 6-1 on Senior Day.

Simpson (13-2-1, 6-1-0 A-R-C) cashed in on three goals in each half for its largest scoring output of the season and biggest win over the Knights since beating them by five, 5-0, in 2000. With the win, the Storm complete their regular season home schedule with a 6-0-0 record. Simpson also clinched the No. 2 seed in the American Rivers Conference Tournament, the team's highest seed since 2006.
