Distance duo earns all-conference honors, hurdles excel in preliminaries

LINCOLN, Neb. - Lara Kallem and Teghan Booth earned all-conference honors in the 10,000 meters on day two of the American Rivers Conference Championships.

Kallem took the silver, while Booth ended up taking the bronze. Booth is earning her third career all-conference honor in track and field, while Kallem garners her first career all-conference track and field distinction.

"Lara and Teghan both ran great," said Storm director of track and field and cross country Heath Moenck. "Anytime you can be all-conference is a terrific accomplishment and something they both should be proud of."

The Storm hurdles also had an impressive day, with all four entries qualifying to tomorrow's finals. Audrey Arnold and Maddie Hays qualified in the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles, respectively, while sophomore Maddax DeVault qualified for the final in both events.
