Storm continue outdoor season at Wartburg

WAVERLY, Iowa - The Simpson College women's track and field team continued its outdoor season at the Wartburg Outdoor Select on Friday and Saturday.

Audrey Arnold was the team's highest finisher in an event, taking third in the 100 meter hurdles. Multiple other Storm runners set season or personal bests over the two-day event as well.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Arnold's third place finish came in a time of 15.11, a new season best and just .08 seconds off her career best.
• Arnold also ran the leadoff leg in the 4x100 meter relay team that set a season-best time of 50.21.
• Ava Carder and Maddie Hays also claimed top five finishes in their respective events.
• Carder ran a personal-best time of 1:01.58 in the 400 meters, while Hays ran a 1:04.75 in the 400 meter version with hurdles.
