Storm women claim multiple podium finishes
WAVERLY, Iowa - The Simpson College women's track and field team had multiple athletes finish on the podium across various events at the Wartburg Select on Saturday.
The Storm had six podium finishes on the day, ranging from sprints to long-distance events.
HIGHLIGHTS
Maddie Hays moved into second all-time in school history with a time of 26.22 in the 200 meters, taking third place in the race.
Hays also set her new career-best in the 400 meters with a time of 58.66, taking second in the race and becoming the third runner in program history to go under 59 seconds.
Lara Kallem (2nd, 10;11.84) and Teghan Booth (3rd, 10:15.95) finished on the podium in the 3,000 meters.
Audrey Arnold also recorded a top three finish in the 60 meter hurdles, clocking a time of 9.27 in the final to claim second.
