Nash achieves third All-America honor
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the third consecutive season, Cassie Nash earned the prestigious honor of being named an All-American, securing a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Third Team.
On top of being the only All-American in team history, Nash is a four-time all-region and five-time all-conference player. She was the American Rivers Conference Offensive MVP in 2022.
Nash registered at least one point in all but five contests, including a streak of 10 games when she scored 12 goals and assisted eight others. She added six gamewinners to her career total, including one of the biggest goals of her career in double overtime of Simpson's 2-1 win over Wis.-La Crosse in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Lincoln, Neb. native finishes her career at Simpson with the second-most goals (82), points (198) and shots (369) in team history. Nash registered 24 career gamewinners, the most since at least 2001, and finished fifth in career assists (34) and tied for sixth in hat tricks (3).
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 in Chicago, Ill., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
