Women’s soccer sits at No. 4 in Region IX

INDIANOLA, Iowa – In week four of the United Soccer Coaches rankings, the Simpson College women's soccer team sits at No. 4 in Region IX.

The week four poll includes all games through Sept. 30, which reflects the Storm's first nine games of the season. Simpson added another win last night against Westminster to improve to 7-0-3.

Ten different players have scored for the Storm this season, led by Cassie Nash's 11 goals. Jordyn Foelske, Maddie Hays and Ally Hoffa have all contributed three to rank second on the team. In goal, Meredith Downs and Braelyn Thomas have combined for four shutouts and a 1.00 team goals against average.

The Storm are off until next Wednesday when they travel to Luther for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
