WBB Preview: No. 14 Simpson visits No. 4 Wartburg tonight

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- A battle between a pair of ranked teams takes place tonight as No. 14 Simpson College women's basketball visits No. 4 Wartburg. The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Waverly.

The Storm (8-0, 7-0 A-R-C) are coming off an impressive 103-61 victory over Dubuque on Saturday. Simpson had five players score in double figures. The Knights (12-1, 5-1 A-R-C) took care of business last Wednesday in a 63-50 triumph against Central.

WARTBURG ATTENDANCE POLICY
Two people per each participant (student-athlete/coach/staff member) will be permitted to attend basketball, volleyball, and wrestling home events inside Levick Arena. Seating for spectators will take place in the west bleachers across from the team benches.

Tonight's contest will be the 91st in the series that dates back to the 1976-77 campaign ... the Knights were in the midst of a nine-game winning streak in the series until the Storm grabbed a 66-62 victory last year inside Cowles Fieldhouse over top-10 Wartburg ... the Knights rebounded for a 102-62 triumph to even the season series ... over the last 10 meetings, only two contests have been decided within 13 points.

Kia Rasmussen had a double-double, Jenna Taylor scored 17 points and the Simpson College women's basketball team beat Dubuque 103-61 on Saturday at Cowles Fieldhouse in the final home game of the regular season ... the Storm scored 38 points off 28 turnovers and led by as many as 50 in the third quarter ...
