Golden Thunder Awards
A Golden Thunder Award is presented to one student-athlete per program every spring at the All-Sports Banquet. While no specific criteria is used for the award, its essence lies in acknowledging an individual whose contributions may not always be highlighted in game recaps or team accolades but are nonetheless crucial to the team's success behind the scenes. This could be the unsung hero who consistently infuses energy into every practice session or the teammate who has demonstrated remarkable improvement or resilience in the face of adversity. Recipients are selected by their head coach.
