WBB Preview: Pair of unbeatens meet tonight in Pella

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- An American Rivers Conference battle of unbeatens will take place tonight when RV Simpson College and RV Central meet inside P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium in Pella at 5:30 p.m.

Both teams are currently receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top-10 Poll after both sit with a 3-0 record. The Storm took care of business last Saturday against Coe and the Dutch snapped a 10-game losing skid to Loras.

Simpson grabbed a 78-68 victory over Coe last Saturday for a much-needed A-R-C triumph ... en route to scoring her 1000th-career point, senior Jenna Taylor produced 16 points to help the cause ... sophomore Cassie Nash paced the team with 18 points and junior Kia Rasmussen added 17 from her guard position.

TAYLOR REACHES MILESTONE
Senior Jenna Taylor became the 17th member of the 1,000-point club on Saturday against Coe after needing 12 points to reach the milestone at the start of the game ... Taylor finished with 16 points and was also named the A-R-C Female Athlete of the Week for her performance against the Kohawks and by scoring 30 points in Wednesday's game versus Nebraska Wesleyan.
