Baseball updates weekend series at Wartburg
INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson baseball weekend series at Wartburg has pushed Saturday's doubleheader to Sunday to avoid the forecasted weather in Waverly, Iowa. The teams will still open the series as scheduled on Friday night at 6 p.m.
Sunday's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. with the second game to follow. The Storm are sitting in ninth in the American Rivers Standings at 4-14 in conference play and 12-18 overall, while the Knights are in eighth at 8-23 overall and 5-13 in the league.
