STORM LAKE, Iowa - Nicole Dillenburg recorded the fifth multi-goal match of her career and Simpson held Buena Vista to six shots in a 4-0 win Wednesday.
Dillenburg (Urbandale, Iowa) scored the first two goals of the game for the Storm (5-6-1, 1-1 IIAC), who improved to 14-0 all-time against Buena Vista.
The Beavers (7-5, 1-2 IIAC) attempted only six shots during the contest. Simpson held an 11-2 advantage in shots during the second half.
Dillenburg's first goal came in the 22nd minute, which proved to be the game-winner. The second goal came in the 39th minute, when Ashlee Krider (Norwalk, Iowa) found Dillenburg on a cross from the left wing.
Susan Leslie (Long Grove, Iowa) and Katherine Bird (Iowa City, Iowa) added second-half insurance goals. Jessica Toyne (Bellevue, Neb.) made three saves in goal, getting the win in her second-straight start.
Simpson closes a three-match road trip Saturday when it takes on Cornell in Mt. Vernon at 3 p.m.
