Storm suffer setback at Iowa Central

FORT DODGE, Iowa -- Anna Wanek provided the lone victory for Simpson College women's tennis in an 8-1 loss at Iowa Central Community College on Saturday.

Wanek kept her unbeaten season alive with 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) victories at No. 1 singles for the Storm's (10-6) only triumph. The junior is now 19-0 in her first season with the program.

Simpson hosts Coe on Tuesday in the American Rivers Conference Women's Tennis NCAA Automatic Qualifier Tournament. The match will begin at 4 p.m. with the winner advancing to visit Wartburg on Friday, April 30.
