Storm land in D3hoops.com West Region Rankings
INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson women's basketball team is currently eighth in the first D3hoops.com West Region Rankings of the year, the organization released on Wednesday.
In addition to the Storm, there are two other American Rivers Conference teams listed in the rankings as Loras is first and Wartburg follows closely in second among the region teams.
Simpson spent some time receiving votes this season on the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll after going on an 11-game winning streak with a win over the nationally-ranked Knights. The Storm are currently 16-5 and 8-4 in A-R-C play.
Competition resumes tonight for Simpson in a 5:30 contest at home against Coe.
