WBB Preview: Storm open A-R-C slate at home against Dubuque

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson women's basketball team play at home for the first time this season as Dubuque visits for the American Rivers Conference opener. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.

The Storm are 1-1 for the year after splitting both of their games at the Tip-Off Tournament on Nov. 15-16. Simpson won the opener against Wis.-Eau Claire, but fell to Wis.-La Crosse. The Spartans are 3-1 through the early part of the season.

The game will be video streamed live on SimpsonAthletics.com. Fans can also access the video stream via the American Rivers application on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.

DUBUQUE SERIES NOTES
Simpson and Dubuque meet for the 80th time in a series that dates back to 1980 … the Storm hold a 70-9 advantage in the series and have won the last three contests … Simpson is averaging 80.7 points per game while allowing 61.3 against the Spartans … the home and road success has been split fairly even for the Storm as they have 34 wins inside Cowles Fieldhouse and 33 on the road against Dubuque.

LAST TIME OUT
The Storm have had over a week off from competition since last playing in the Tip-Off Tournament at Wis.-Eau Claire on Nov. 15-16 … Simpson won 84-63 over the hosts, Wis.-Eau Claire, before falling 84-68 to Wis.-La Crosse.
