Simpson drops road match to Webster
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Simpson College women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Webster in its final match before the American Rivers Conference Tournament beginning on Tuesday.
The Gorloks (12-10) picked up two doubles wins before the Storm (4-10) got on the board with an 8-4 victory by Anna Wanek and Emily King in the top slot. King tied the match at 2-2 with a 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 singles, but Webster won four of the last five to claim the victory.

As the No. 5-seed in the A-R-C Tournament, Simpson heads to Dubuque to face No. 4-seed Loras on Tuesday. The winner of the match will advance to play Luther, which won the regular season title with a perfect 8-0 record in conference play.
