Sixty-two student-athletes land on A-R-C All-Academic Team

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Sixty-two Simpson student-athletes competing in fall sports earned a spot on the 2021-22 American Rivers Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Friday.

Men's cross country led the way with 12 selections, while women's cross country had 10. Football, men's soccer and women's soccer each had nine, women's tennis and volleyball had five apiece and women's golf had a trio of honorees.

To be eligible for A-R-C All-Academic Team honors, a student-athlete must be on the eligibility list for the sport of nomination, be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year in residence and attain an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
