Roe leads Storm in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Isaac Roe of the Simpson College men's golf team tied for fifth at the Staco Spring Classic with a round of 75 to pace the team before weather cancelled round two.
Roe was playing as an individual for the Storm, with his round of 75 being the second-best round of his season. The senior recorded his second career top five finish as a member of the team and the first of this season.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Roe was the top-finishing individual in the tournament.
- Blake Perrin led the Storm scoring lineup, tying for 15th with a round of 78.
- Roe and Perrin made a combined four birdies in their rounds.
- Perrin has now shot under 80 in nine of his 12 rounds on the year.
- Bradley Kofoed shot an 82 to tie for 28th, his second-best finish on the year.
