Storm take fifth on Spring Break trip

BRADENTON, Fla. - The Simpson College men's golf team took fifth place on the team's Spring Break trip to Florida at the Shenandoah Spring Fling.

The Storm rose one spot after the first round, shooting a two-day total of 671. Max Trembly led the Storm with the lowest round of the tournament for the team, firing a 77 in round one.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Trembly recorded a top 15 finish, tying for 14th with a two-day total of 160.
  • Jackson Mears made his season debut as an individual, tying for 35th with rounds of 88 and 87 to place fourth on the Storm.
  • Jacob Peterson carded two consistent rounds of 83 and 84 to take 22nd.
  • Bradley Kofoed shot rounds of 89 and 84 to claim a top 30 finish.
