Riordan earns second Academic All-District honor

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- For the second-straight season, Conor Riordan has been tabbed an Academic All-District 8 First Team recipient, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Riordan is one of five players to be honored on the District 8 Squad among NCAA Division III programs across 21 states and Canada. The Ankeny, Iowa native is joined by fellow American Rivers Conference member, Nate Bahe of Nebraska Wesleyan.

The senior has climbed his way up the record books and currently sits ninth in program history with 1,468 career points. Riordan has maintained a 3.94 GPA as a mathematics major while appearing in over 90 contests for the Storm. This season, Riordan is averaging 20.0 points per outing for third in the A-R-C and is dishing out 4.3 assists per game.

The 2019-20 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced between March 9-12.
