No. 11/12 Knights stifle Storm offense

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Simpson College women's basketball team could not find an offensive rhythm in a 65-46 setback to No. 11/12 Wartburg on Saturday.

Entering the game on a four-game win streak, the Storm (11-9, 7-4) shot just 33.3 percent from the field and made only four 3-pointers. The Knights (18-2, 11-0 A-R-C) faced their own offensive challenges throughout but dominated the boards, outrebounding Simpson 43-24 with 16 offensive rebounds leading to 17 second chance points.

Lauren Woeste, Jaedon Murphy and Sara Faber all scored at least 15 to help the Knights remain undefeated in American Rivers Conference play. Haley Rasmussen led the Storm with 10 points.
