Thirty-five student-athletes earn all-academic recognition

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Thirty-five Simpson College student-athletes competing in winter sports have earned recognition on the 2024-25 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) All-Academic Team.

Women's basketball led the way with nine honorees, followed closely by the women's wrestling program with eight selections. Women's swim and dive accounted for five honorees, while men's basketball, men's wrestling, and cheer each had three. Men's swim and dive and dance rounded out the list with two apiece.

To be eligible for A-R-C All-Academic Team honors, a student-athlete must be on the eligibility list for the sport of nomination, be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year in residence, and attain an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
