
Lutmer grabs A-R-C Player of the Week honor
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coming off two wins in American Rivers Conference play, senior guard Molly Lutmer has been named the league's Player of the Week.
Lutmer moved into fifth all-time in career 3-pointers with eight makes behind the arc this week, including six in a blowout with over Loras on Saturday. Across both games, Lutmer averaged 16.0 points while shooting 50.0 percent from three and 52.2 percent from the floor. She also contributed nine rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Simpson sits in fourth place in conference standings at the conclusion of the first half of A-R-C action. The Storm are on the road for their next three games, beginning with Dubuque on Saturday.
