INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson College women's basketball team cruised to an 83-27 win over Nebraska Wesleyan on Wednesday evening.
Six players scored seven or more points and the Storm defense held the Prairie Wolves (0-18, 0-13 A-R-C) to 10 or fewer points in each quarter for their largest margin of victory over an American Rivers Conference opponent this season.
Simpson (13-10, 8-6 A-R-C) knocked down a season-high 13 triples, with six of those coming in the third quarter alone. Haley Rasmussen led the team with four long-range baskets, Maddax DeVault sank a career-high three, and Elle Street had two.
