Storm place 24 on NFCA Scholar-Athlete List

LOUISVILLE, Ky, – Twenty-four members of the Simpson College softball team landed on this year's Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete Team after achieving a cumulative GPA higher than 3.5 during the 2021-22 academic year.

Ten individuals including Olivia Allen, Megan Crockett, Brooke Fonley, Maizee Lindsey, Maddie Luderman, Randie Richmond, Maxie Saceda-Hurt, Taylor Stamm, Laurel Stice and Brooke Tucker were all repeat selections from a year ago. Reagan Church, Mackenzie DePhillips, Alexis Ehlers, Liv Erickson, Karlie Hill, Kate Kriegel, Ava Lowden, Lindsey Mescher, Abby Meyer, Summer Pasutti, Caroline Pellett, Bailey Petersen, Taylor Shinn, and Mya Willey were all honored for the first time.

The Storm softball team posted a 3.50 GPA as a unit during the 2021-22 academic year. Twelve athletes earned American Rivers Conference All-Academic honors and Maddie Luderman was tabbed Academic All-District by the College of Sports Information Directors of America.
