Ordaz tabbed as all-region selection
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Senior forward Ronaldo Ordaz of the Simpson College men's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region IX Third Team, as announced on Tuesday.
Ordaz is coming off a fine senior campaign in which he led the American Rivers Conference in goals and assists, earning all-conference accolades for the second straight season. Ordaz's selection marks the third straight year that the Storm have had at least one player named to an all-region team.
The Storm wrapped up the 2023 season with a 7-10-1 record and a 4-4 mark in conference play, extending its streak of having qualified for every conference tournament since 2011.

- Senior forward from Marshalltown, Iowa
- Started all 18 games, leading the conference in points (37), goals (13), and assists (11)
- His 11 assists tied the Simpson single-season record
- Earned his second straight all-conference honor
- Recorded at least one goal or assist in 13 of 18 games, including four multi-goal games
- Won three A-R-C Offensive Player of the Week awards, including two in back-to-back weeks
- Scored two goals and dished out two assists in the win 5-2 win at Loras, becoming only one of three players in the conference to record six points in a game
