Weekend event schedule altered due to forecasted heat

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson College Athletic Department has announced that the upcoming weekend event schedule has been altered due to the forecasted hot temperatures.

Both cross country teams, due to host the Bill Buxton Invitational, have moved their race start times later ahead on Friday evening. The women's race will begin at 6:45 p.m., while the men will follow at approximately 7:15 p.m. The races will take place at Indianola's Pickard Park.

Sunday's home soccer doubleheader has also been moved up. The women will now take on Gustavus Adolphus for an early 9 a.m. kickoff, while the men are scheduled to welcome in Macalestar at 12:30 p.m.
