Schutjer earns third All-America nod

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Simpson's Stacey Schutjer can add another trophy to her mantle after earning Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention All-America honors for the 2011-12 season.

A 6-2 senior post from Titonka, Iowa, Schutjer takes home the award for the third time in her career, making her the only three-time All-American in Simpson women's basketball history. She is also a three-time First Team All-Iowa Conference performer and a three-time D3hoops.com Second Team All-Region pick.

Schutjer averaged 13.6 points and 7.4 rebounds for the Storm in 2011-12, helping the team to a 21-7 record, its fifth-straight Iowa Conference Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

One of the most decorated players in Simpson history, Schutjer closed her career sixth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,388 points and third among the top rebounders with 712.
