RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Tiffany Gregorich scored a career-high 33 points and No. 14 UW-River Falls pulled away in the second half, beating the Simpson women's basketball team 75-59 on Saturday afternoon.
Gregorich and the Falcons (10-0) beat Simpson for the second time this season, taking a 79-73 decision at the Luther Classic on Nov. 18.
Jamie Elbert (Indianola, Iowa) scored a team-high 14 points for the Storm (7-3).
Tied 30-30 at halftime, the contest remained close until the eight-minute mark. With the game tied 49-49 with just under eight minutes left, River Falls mounted a 12-0 run to put the game away.
Ali Sokol (Urbandale, Iowa) added nine points and five rebounds for the Storm.
Simpson's next action will take place in Las Vegas, Nev. at the D3hoops.com Classic.
