Simpson hosts second-annual Hoopapalooza

The men's and women's basketball teams invite you to join them for the second annual Hoopapalooza. Last year's event was a great success and this year will be even better.

First, get a glimpse of what is to come from the four-time defending Iowa Conference Champion women's team in a 20-minute, intersquad scrimmage.

Halftime will feature performances by Simpson's own cheer and dance squads, a 3-point shootout and a crowd-favorite in 2010, the dunk contest. Your cheers determine the winner, so be loud!

Finally, get your first look at the men's team in a 20-minute, intersquad scrimmage. The Storm showed significant improvement last year and look to contend for an IIAC Championship in 2011-12.

It promises to be a fun night, so come out and help us kick off the season in style!
