
Cooper sets new personal record in 60m as Storm wrap up Indoor season
WAVERLY, Iowa - Emma Cooper earned a new personal best in the 60m, while Teghan Booth and Aaliyah Johnson each claimed a spot on the podium as the Storm competed one last time at the NCAA Final Qualifier, hosted by Wartburg.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Emma Cooper earned a personal best in the 60m prelims with her mark of 8.04 seconds.
- Teghan Booth finished the highest mark of any Storm on the day, earning second overall in the 5000m race with a time of 17:41.11 minutes.
- Aaliyah Johnson earned a spot on the podium in the triple jump, finishing with a best mark of 10.79m
- Jenna Thornburg placed fifth overall in the 60m dash with a time of 7.95 seconds.
- Olivia Merrill placed 10th overall in the shot put with her best toss of 12.18m.
