Booth earns All-Conference; Thornburg shatters school record after first day of A-R-C Indoor Championships
WAVERLY, Iowa - Jenna Thornburg shattered the school record in the 60m dash and Teghan Booth earned all-conference honors at the opening day of the A-R-C Indoor Championships on Friday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Jenna Thornburg's time of 7.92 seconds in the 60m dash not only qualified her for the finals, but also eclipsed Amy Wigen's school record of 7.96 seconds set back in 2001.
- Teghan Booth added more hardware to her trophy case on Friday, taking home second overall in the 5000m with a time 17:51.24, earning her all-conference honors.
- The Storm's DMR team finished fifth overall with a time of 12:56.77 minutes, which ranked seventh best in school history.
