Merrill and True shine in the discus at the Wartburg Outdoor Select meet

WAVERLY, Iowa - Olivia Merrill and Hannah True added their names to the top-10 lists in school history with their best mark in the discus as the Storm competed at the Wartburg Outdoor Select on Saturday.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• Olivia Merrill set a new personal best in the discus with a mark of 38.55m, which moved her up to sixth all-time in school history in the event.
• Hannah True's mark of 33.56m in the discus was also a top-10 mark in school history, placing her 10th all-time.
• The 4x400 relay team of Jenna Thornburg, Chloe Wierson, Nicole Middents, and Maddie Hays finished third overall in the event.
• Maddie Hays took fifth overall in the 400m hurdles, clocking a time of 1:04.89 minutes, which was the 20th fastest time in Division III this year.
