Strong performances highlight Storm's day at Wartburg

WAVERLY, Iowa - Competing at the Wartburg Triangular on Friday, the Simpson track and field program shined in the final meet before hosting the 2025 A-R-C Outdoor Championships.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• Teghan Booth added her name once more to the school top-10 marks, this time taking eighth in school history in the 1,500m race with a time of 4:47.65.
• The 4x100 relay team consisting of Emma Cooper, Maddie Hays, Maddax DeVault, and Chloe Wierson recorded the sixth fastest time in school history.
• Sophie Simon's best mark of 33.74m in the discus narrowly got her name in the program's top-10 books, placing tenth overall in school history.
• The day wasn't over for Simon who moved up to eighth all-time in school history in the hammer with a mark of 36.19m.
