Brown receives Scholar All-America recognition

MANHEIM, Penn. -- Senior RJ Brown of the Simpson wrestling team has been selected to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Academic Team.

Brown is one of 264 wrestlers from across the NCAA Division III to be selected to the team.

The Tucson, Ariz. native boasts a 3.25 grade-point average while majoring in physical education for the Storm.

On the mat this season, Brown held a 22-47 record and finished in eighth place at the NCAA Lower Midwest Regional in the 174-pound bracket. He finished his Simpson career with a record of 69-56.
