Wrestling ends dual season at Dubuque

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- Dylan McChesney and Sam Mathis picked up wins in the Simpson wrestling team's last dual match of the season, but lost 43-6 at Dubuque on Wednesday.

McChesney earned a 7-4 decision over Aaron Black in the 125-pound weight class. Mathis narrowly escaped his 285-pound match with a 2-1 decision against Dan Petrela. Both wrestlers now have 13 wins for the year.

Jason Padilla, Jacob Irwin and Jakob Slavin each competed for Simpson, but could not come away with wins. The Storm had five open slots against the Spartans.
