Storm move up one spot in USTFCCCA regional ranking
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Simpson women's cross country team moved up one slot in the latest United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) regional poll, earning seventh on Tuesday.
The Storm leapfrogged Grinnell and A-R-C rival Loras, while Wartburg and Central flipped slots in this week's ranking. A-R-C Runner of the Week winner Teghan Booth, along with impressive results from Elie Tuhn, Emily Escoto, Taitlin Koch, and Mya Whitaker have propelled the Storm in 2024.
Simpson makes one last stop in the regular season, traveling to Nebraska for the Platte River Rumble on Friday, Oct. 18.
