
Storm gear up for A-R-C Championships on Saturday
INDIANOLA, Iowa - This Saturday, the Simpson men's and women's cross country teams will compete for an A-R-C conference title in Cedar Rapids.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
- The men are seeking their first conference title since 1960, their lone conference title.

ABOUT THE STORM
- The women were ranked seventh in the USTFCCCA preseason regional rankings, and were ranked every week of the season, reaching as high as seventh twice.
- Teghan Booth was named the A-R-C Runner of the Week after another strong showing at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
- Booth led the team in all four meets, and recorded three top-three finishes, including an individual title at the Bill Buxton Invitational.
- The women's team finished top-five in all four meets, including a win at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
- The men began the season ranked ninth in the USTFCCCA regional rankings, and was featured three more times during the season tenth overall.
- Cole Leggett was named the A-R-C Runner of the Week after leading the Storm at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
- The men's team finished top-five in every meet this season, including three top-three finishes, and won the Bill Buxton Invitational to start the season.
