Cross country heads to NCAA Midwest Regional
INDIANOLA, Iowa - The stage has been set for the Simpson cross country teams as they travel to Rock Island, Ill. for the 2024 NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday.

ABOUT THE STORM
- Teghan Booth, Taitlin Koch, and Cole Leggett were named All-American Rivers Conference selections for finishing in the top 20 at the A-R-C Championships.
- The women were ranked seventh in the USTFCCCA preseason regional rankings, and were ranked every week of the regular season, reaching as high as seventh twice.
- Teghan Booth was named the A-R-C Runner of the Week after another strong showing at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
- Booth led the team in all five meets, and recorded four top-three finishes, including an individual title at the Bill Buxton Invitational.
- The women's team finished top-five in all five meets, including a win at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
- The men began the season ranked ninth in the USTFCCCA regional rankings, and was featured four more times during the season tenth overall.
- Cole Leggett was named the A-R-C Runner of the Week after leading the Storm at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
- The men's team finished top five in every meet this season, including three top-three finishes, and won the Bill Buxton Invitational to start the season.
