Storm compete at ITA Midwest Regionals

WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Simpson College women's tennis team continued its season at the ITA Midwest Regionals over the weekend.

All-conference performer Bella Tranquilino competed in both of the main ITA Main Draws for Simpson and was joined by freshman Maddie Haskell on the doubles side.

Haskell fought impressively in her singles match in the Flight D bracket, but came up shy, 7-5, 6-4. The Storm had five four players compete in singles, with freshman Korynna Olson joining Coilee Hynek in doubles for five total players in action.

The Storm return to dual match play next Friday at 4 p.m., hosting Loras in conference play.
