Women’s tennis selected seventh in preseason poll
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Simpson College women's tennis team was picked seventh in the American Rivers Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Storm return three members from last year's squad and add five new faces, including four freshmen. Defending conference champion Luther was voted first place, while Coe received the other first-place vote in the poll.
A LOOK AT 2022
- The women finished with a 2-6 mark in conference play, picking up wins over Dubuque and Buena Vista.
- Bella Tranquilino was named to the All-A-R-C Honorable Mention team.
- Kira Anderson advanced to the Flight C Singles Bracket Quarterfinals at the A-R-C Individual Tournament.
- Carina Covington, Maddie Hays, Donni Kinghorn, Anna Schewe, and Kennedi Wright were all named to the A-R-C All-Academic Team.
