WINONA, Minn. – Josh Harry's second-half goal lifted the Simpson men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over St. Mary's on Thursday night.
Harry scored his first goal of the season Thursday, finding the back of the net in the 67th minute to help the Storm (10-6) snap a two-game losing streak.
Simpson won by the slimmest of margins despite out-shooting Saint Mary's 16-5 on the night. The Storm also put six shots on goal compared to two for the Cardinals (5-6-1).
Zach McEntee made two saves and Marcus Varnum put two shots on goal to lead Simpson.
