MOORHEAD, Minn. - Louis Joslyn and Nick Joslyn each scored goals and the Simpson men's soccer team beat Concordia-Moorhead 2-1 on Sunday at the Cobber Invitational.
Simpson salvaged a .500 record for the weekend after dropping Saturday's tournament opener to UW-Superior 3-2.
Defender Josh Harry and midfielder Garrett Pochop joined the Joslyn brothers on the all-tournament team.
The Storm (3-2) had to play catch up against the host Cobbers (0-4), conceding the first goal of the contest via a penalty kick in the 54th minute after a scoreless first half.
Nick got Simpson on the board 10 minutes later when he took a ball from Harry and scored the equalizer at the 63:22 mark.
Louis provided the winning goal in the 71st minute and Zach McEntee made two big saves in the final 19 minutes to secure the win.
The Storm continue their five-game road swing at Upper Iowa on Thursday, Sept. 11.
