LINCOLN, Neb. – Ian Baldwin produced a go-ahead single in the top of the ninth and the Simpson College baseball team picked up a 5-3 American Rivers Conference win at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Baldwin opened the game with a double to left and came around to score on a single by Will Carlock to give Simpson an early 1-0 advantage. The Storm (14-17, 4-11 A-R-C) added two more runs the following inning as Baldwin drove Jack Shaffer in from third and Zach Fuller scored on a passed ball.

The Prairie Wolves (12-20, 4-14 A-R-C) got one run back in three of the next four innings to tie the game going into the seventh. After two scoreless frames, Simpson went out in front 5-3.
