Jacobs selected to Millikin All-Tournament Team

DECATUR, Ill. – Senior Jessica Jacobs was named to the Millikin Invitational All-Tournament Team on Monday.

This is Jacobs' second time being named to an all-tournament squad this season and sixth time in the last two seasons.

Jacobs registered 34 total kills to help Simpson (10-8, 2-1 A-R-C) to a 2-1 record at the tournament. She reached double-figure kills in each set, extending her current streak of accomplishing that feat to eight games. In a 3-0 loss to the hosts, Jacobs recorded 11 kills while hitting .292 from the outside. She added 23 kills on Saturday and went without an error for the first time in her career against Eureka, registering 10 kills in 20 attempts.

The Storm are set to play their final nonconference contest of the season on Wednesday at Grinnell. Simpson will then host Coe and Wartburg over the weekend with Saturday's match with the Knights serving as Senior Day.
