Storm women claim 14th-straight CSCAA academic honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Simpson women's swimming and diving team grabbed another College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team honor for the 14th semester in a row, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The CSCAA recognizes those teams achieving a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. The Storm showcased an impressive 3.54 GPA this fall, while Katie Cardoza and Alyssa Harris both maintained a 4.0 GPA during the semester.

In total, 762 teams from 480 institutions achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better during the Fall 2019 Semester. There were 183 women's teams recognized at the NCAA Division III level.
