
Storm culminate season at NCAA Championships
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Simpson College men's gymnastics team concluded its season at the NCAA Championships hosted by The Ohio State University.
Michelangelo Villani and Milo Staley competed on all six events as individual all-around qualifiers. Villani ended the night with a 72.431 highlighted by a season-best score on parallel bars (12.166). He also had his second-highest score of the season on vault (11.200) and third-highest on floor (12.733).
Staley recorded an all-around mark of 68.764, earning a season-high 11.766 on high bar. His highest score of the meet was vault (13.866).
Participating in two events, Alex Catchpole recorded a season-high 12.733 on pommel horse as well as a 12.833 on parallel bars. Brian Rollison earned a 12.766 on rings and Jake Smith secured a 12.566 on high bar.
