Pariza garners All-America distinction on floor

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – On the final day of the USA Gymnastics Championships, freshman Sterling Pariza captured All-American honors with a sixth place finish on floor.

Pariza, who qualified for the individual event finals with a season-high 13.500 on Friday, earned a score of 13.000 to finish in sixth place. He has now received at least 13 points on floor in six consecutive outings.

Kyle Kincade also competed in the floor finals following a season-best score of 13.350 in the team/all-around division yesterday afternoon. The Edmond, Okla. product fell just shy of All-American distinction with a score of 12.700, tying for seventh place.
