Simpson golfers improve on final day of Wartburg Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa -- All five Simpson College men's golfers improved their scores in the final round of the Wartburg Invitational on Saturday.

Isaac Roe trimmed 12 strokes off yesterday's scorecard to lead the Storm in the final rankings with a 170. Roe shot a 91 on day one and ended with a 79. Brendan Bayeur followed his classmate with a two-day sum of 175. He clipped nine strokes off from the first round to shoot a season-best 82.

Konner Johnson improved by four strokes, while Lucas Hemphill and Brett Jansen chopped 20 strokes off yesterday's results. Hemphill and Jansen both collected season bests to close out the weekend.
